The Corradia Stream ICNG was brought in to replace ageing rolling stock on the Intercity routes of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). ICNG stands for "InterCity Nieuwe Generatie" (next-generation Intercity). Entering service in 2022, it has a high top speed - ideal for intercity service. ICNG improves on the top speed of the previous generation Intercitys - up to 200km/h is possible.
